From Alex Hamilton

We serve an amazing God, who has incredible plans for his people.

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

The past two years I have had to lean heavily on this passage as I struggled with the “why’s” of my physical struggles. As you may be aware, I have been struggling with the reality that my body can no longer do what I need it to do. After much prayer and discussions with my family, my entire medical team, and the board, I do not foresee that I will have any significant improvement physically from where I am today. In light of that reality, I must accept that where I am physically today is insufficient to meet the long term needs of Miracle Farm.

Therefore, I want to let you know personally that I have notified the Board of Trustees of my intention to take an early medical retirement and have resigned as the President of Miracle Farm. I have agreed to continue serving in my role until the end of 2021, or until a successor is named, in order to ensure a smooth transition.

This month marks 10 years that I have had the honor of serving as the leader of this amazing ministry. I am proud of the legacy we have built and the work God is doing each and every day at Miracle Farm. I am crushed in accepting the reality that my body simply cannot take us to the next phase and the next level of success.

Our board and staff have amazing plans and vision for the next steps. Please keep each of them in your thoughts and prayers as they search for a new leader with fresh energy as our boys deserve the very best!

Thank you for your understanding and continued prayers during this transition.

For His Boys,
